Flying into Punta Cana
Option 1 (Recommended)
Punta Cana Airport (PUJ): 25 minutes
The Punta Cana airport is by far the closest airport to the house. There aren't as many flights as Santa Domingo, but it's an easy drive to the house.

Option 2
Santa Domingo (SDQ): 2.5 hours
This is a more popular airport with more flights to the DR, but it's a long drive to Punta Cana. There are buses/shuttles that can take you if you don't want to take an Uber.

Some fun things to do in Punta Cana

Punta Cana Beaches
No trip to Punta Cana would be complete without some time spent on its gorgeous beaches. Playa Bávaro (Bavaro Beach) is one of the most popular shorelines in Punta Cana, with its powdery sands, swaying palm trees, blue waters and bevy of amenities, including water sports rentals, dining options and nearby accommodations.

Cocotal Golf and Country Club
Renowned architect, Jose "Pepe" Gancedo designed the course by following the lay of the land, using the natural terrain to provide a course easily remembered long after the player finishes. Trademark features are strategically-placed trees, bunkers, mounds and gently rolling terrain with well-defined and generous fairways without forgetting an unrelenting wind.

Hard Rock Casino
The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana is situated on pristine sugar white sands stretching 121-acres along Macao Beach in the Dominican Republic. Among the resort's offerings are the signature Rock Spa(R), 18-hole Nicklaus designed golf course, and a larger-than-life Vegas-style casino - the largest in the Dominican Republic, featuring Oro nightclub.
